We are passionate about music and understand what great music is about. Discipline, inspiration, talent, excellence and drive are all part of the formula that leads to one becoming a successful musician. Study the music you want to learn with instruction available in a variety of genres ranging from Classical and Jazz, to Rock, Country, Blues, Pop and other contemporary genres. Our facilities are equipped with grand and upright pianos, drum sets and other percussion instruments, sound-proof modules and practice rooms, rehearsal and recital halls, a computer/music lab, state-of-the-art digital classrooms, a professional recording studio and more.
Important Information
To successfully register in MU1510 and MU1550, you must provide evidence that you already understand some basic music theory. These are core musicianship courses in the first year of our music programs, so fulfilling the music theory requirement is essential to gain entry to our programs. Preparing for AuditionsBachelor of Music
Meet with one of our Advisors to discuss your options! Complete one or two years of a Bachelor of Music, a Bachelor of Arts Music major/minor, a Bachelor of Education Music major/minor, and a Bachelor of Music/Bachelor of Education Combined Degree. These transfer programs are designed to prepare students for entrance into the third year of a four-year program at several different universities in Alberta.

Music Diploma
This program provides a solid foundation of training in the basics of musicianship including history, music theory and aural skills as well as individual lessons that allow you to develop the discipline, inspiration, and excellence that lead to becoming a successful musician. This program offers students with a passion for music the opportunity to begin studies without extensive prior experience, with later options of transferring into a Bachelor’s stream.
