Welcome to the Wolves Web Den

The NWP Wolves are a vibrant group of student-athletes, ready to welcome you to the Pack. With rosters across basketball, cross-country running, futsal, golf, hockey, indoor track, soccer, and volleyball, the Wolves crisscross the province and country, competing in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) and Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).

The athletic program is supported by a team of coaches and staff who share a passion for inspiring and motivating athletes to reach their full athletic and academic potential.

More Shots at Success for Wolves Athletes

The Wolfpack is expanding with the addition of two new, in-demand elite programs. Avid golfers will be able to hit the fairway this September, while the puck will officially drop for the Wolves Women’s Hockey team in Fall 2026.

"Coach Lloyd pushes his athletes to be the best version of themselves both on and off the court. Being in his presence, it is clear that he has passion and love for basketball and NWP. Results don’t lie. Coach Lloyds's leadership has taken the team’s performance to the next level, proving that dedication and preparation create lasting success."
Women's Basketball Head Coach, Bill Bradley
"Coach Bradley is all about building confidence and pushing athletes to their full potential, building athletes who can execute at a high level, not just once, but every time they compete. Additionally, we've heard he is great at karaoke."
Women's soccer head coach, Catherine Ridgeway
"Coach Ridgeway has built more than a team, she’s built a family. Every athlete feels valued, supported, and ready to take on challenges together. That’s the kind of culture that wins both on and off the field."
Men's soccer head coach, David Rojas
"Coach Rojas is a mentor, guiding athletes in sport and in life. He's created an environment where hard work and teamwork thrive. His approach is all about measurable gains - sharper skills, higher output, and consistent execution under pressure."
Men's Volleyball Head Coach, Lindsey Habib
"Coach Habib is all about building confidence and pushing athletes to reach their full potential, on the court and beyond. Their positive energy has become a driving force for the team’s growth. Athletes are mastering the details and turning them into game-changing results when it matters most."
Women's Volleyball head coach, Sam Tu'ivai
"By challenging athletes to exceed their own expectations, Coach Tu'ivai has cultivated a culture of continuous improvement and shared accomplishment."
Cross country running head coach, Chris Nelissen
"Resilience, confidence, and belief - Coach Nelissen inspires athletes to turn challenges into opportunities. The team has never been stronger, both in mindset and performance."
Golf head coach, Nathan Barendregt
"Inspiring, motivating, and always leading by example, Coach Barendregt has quickly become a difference-maker. His ability to build belief and fuel determination is shaping a culture of excellence.
