Crisis Response Certificate Program
To achieve a Crisis Response Certificate, you must complete the required six core courses, plus a minimum of 12 hours of elective courses of your choosing. Courses may be taken as part of the Crisis Response Certificate or as stand alone courses.
All courses must be taken through Pace for credit towards the certificate.
Required:
- Crisis Intervention & Communication Skills (CRM01)
- Cross Cultural Awareness (CRM04)
- First Responders to Sexual Assault & Sexual Abuse (CRM06)
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) (CRM08)
- Working with Children Who Experienced Trauma (CRM10) and Grief and Resiliency (CRM11) (CRM11) (as one full day together)
- Mental Health First Aid (CRM12)
Please choose which of the following elective courses (minimum of 12 hours total) you would like.
Full-day (Elective): (7 hours each)
- Intimate Partner Violence (CRM02)
- Awareness of Self Harming Behavior (CRM09)
- Impacts of Sexual Violence, Exploitation and Social Media: Children and Youth (CRM20)
Part-day (Elective): (3 hours each)
- Introduction to Professionalism to Professionalism (CRM07)
