Description: This acute care practicum builds on the concepts and intentional clinical learning from NS2210 and NS2250. The focus is on integrating prior learning to move towards providing comprehensive patient and family centered care and socialization to the role of the nurse in an acute care setting.

Prerequisite:
  • Complete the following:
    • NS2160 - Pathophysiology and Pharmacology II (6)
    • NS2240 - Foundations in Nursing III (3)
    • NS2250 - Introductory Acute Care Nursing Practice II (6)

Note: Available only to Nursing students.
