Description: This course examines the developmental characteristics of children ages 6 through 12 years and the components of high quality out of school care programs. Students will acquire the knowledge and skills to ensure that the environment, experiences and interactions meet the needs of school age children.

Prerequisite:
  • Complete 1 of the following:
    • Successful completion of Year 1
    • Permission of the department
