Women's Soccer Adds Brar to the 2025-26 Roster
Monday, December 16th, 2024

Women's soccer recruit, Ramneet Brar.
Now that the whistle has been blown on the first half of the 2024-25 season, Wolves Women's Soccer head coach Catherine Ridgeway has her sights set on shaping the 2025-26 squad. With a wide recruitment net yielding top talent, she is pleased to welcome Ramneet Brar to the Wolfpack.
Joining the Wolves from Abbotsford, BC, Brar has had a successful and exciting run with Tzeachten FC, bringing home silver from the 2023 BC Provincial Championship, and travelling across the pond to play against the Manchester City Women's Academy in 2022. Earlier that same year, her team, Chilliwack FC, took gold in the BC Provincial Championship.
With aspirations of pursuing a career in health promotion and physical performance, Brar chose NWP because of its kinesiology program and looks forward to pursuing her passion for soccer alongside her academic journey.
Coach Ridgeway sees the potential Brar adds to the squad, highlighting that "improving our outside midfield play is critical in driving our offensive strategy, and Ramneet is exceptional in this area. Her ability to stretch the field, deliver quality crosses, and create scoring opportunities will be a game-changer". With endurance at the centre of a solid foundation to excel on the pitch, coach Ridgeway welcomes the energy Brar will add to the roster. "She has an impressive work rate, which will be a huge asset to the team."
Welcome to the Wolfpack, Ramneet.
