New Recruit Hudson Forbes
Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2024-2025 NWP Wolves Men's Volleyball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Ron Thomson is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Meet Hudson Forbes a multi-talented athlete from Grande Prairie, Alberta who is excited to join the Wolves Men's Volleyball team for the upcoming year.
Forbes brings with him an impressive athletic resume, including being the 2022 Provincial Silver medalist In 3A volleyball, 2023 Golden Bear tournament all-star, 2023 Arctic Winter games gold medalist for volleyball, and the 2024 Arctic Winter games player for volleyball.
When asked why he chose NWP, Forbes explained that attending NWP allows him to attend programs that he enjoys and that he Is very excited to reconnect with other players on the team, while also getting to know teammates.
In his rookie year, Forbes is most excited to develop his skills In volleyball and gain valuable knowledge through practices and games.
Head Coach Ron Thomson is excited to work with Forbes, adding, “Hudson brings great energy and excitement! Hudson will be a great addition that brings a good work ethic to Improve. Hudson Is a good athlete that will develop Into a great player".
