New Recruit Summer Jackson
Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2024-2025 NWP Wolves Cross Country Running and Indoor Track team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Christopher Nelissen is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Meet Summer Jackson a multi-talented athlete from Grande Prairie, Alberta who is excited to join the Wolves Cross Country Running and Indoor Track team for the upcoming year.
Jackson brings with her an impressive athletic resume, including participating in the 2023 Alberta Summer games and the 2023 Alberta provincials.
When asked why she chose NWP, Jackson explained that attending NWP allows her to remain close to home while competing In the sport she loves at an Institution that has a great reputation. She added that the small class sizes appealed to her.
In her rookie year, Jackson is most excited for the opportunity to Improve her running and make new friends.
Head Coach Chris Nelissen is excited to work with Jackson, adding, “Summer Is a cheerful and hardworking athlete who Is always ready to do what It takes to Improve herself and those around her. We look forward to seeing Summer develop In her first ACAC season."
