Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2023-2024 NWP Wolves Men’s Basketball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Evan Lloyd is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Meet John Sasi, a multi-talented athlete from Estevan, Saskatchewan who is excited to join the Wolves Men’s Basketball team for the upcoming year.
Sasi brings with him an impressive athletic resume, including being the 2015 MVP and Champion (ECS SHSAA), 2016 SV Most Committed, 2017 SV MVP, and the 2018 SV MVP and Athlete of the Year.
When asked why he chose NWP, Sasi explained basketball for him it is not just about skills, it’s about character. He chose NWP because he wanted a program where he can grow as a basketball player.
In his rookie year, Sasi is most excited about representing much bigger than himself.
Head Coach Evan Lloyd is excited to work with Sasi, adding, “John will bring a competitive nature to our program. While also being a great team guy, we are excited to work with him and develop his skills.”
Welcome to the pack, John.
