Northwestern Polytechnic’s Athletic Teams Unveil New Look.
Northwestern Polytechnic’s athletes will be sporting a sharp look this season. The new Wolves logo and colours were revealed earlier this month as part of the institution's Fall 2022 Welcome Week activities.
“NWP’s Wolves are proud to represent on campus, in the community and in the heat of competition,” says Dr. Vanessa Sheane, NWP Provost and Vice President Academic. “This new logo and colours reflect the energy and drive that makes our athletes and teams so successful.”
With a heavy emphasis on NWP's bolder blue and aurora pink colour palette, Alberta's newest polytechnic will have a strong presence as they compete in surrounding post-secondary facilities and at home. The soccer teams were the first to showcase the new look when they hit the field in fresh attire at their home opener on October 8, 2022, at CKC Field.
“It’s great timing with all of our Wolves teams and athletes ready to dig in for the season ahead,” says Lauren Hale-Miller, Acting Athletics Manager and Women's Volleyball Head Coach. “We have all been looking forward to seeing the new uniforms and fan wear in action so this is perfect timing.”
