GPRC is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the 5GPRC priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Chris Morgan is excited to add his first recruits to the roster.
Meet Kyler Derocher.
Hailing from Grande Prairie, Alberta, Derocher is looking forward to growing as a student and athlete while playing in his hometown. “I am excited to meet new people and play with the team here at GPRC. This College is close to home and I look forward to advancing my education as well as my soccer skills.”
In 2019, Derocher and his GP United team brought home the gold title in the U17 Tier 3 provincial championships. This win was following a silver medal Tier 2 finish at the 2018 FC Memorial Cup with his GP United teammates.
In his upcoming rookie season, Derocher is looking forward to learning from his new coach. “I am excited to work under Head Coach, Chris Morgan and with some great teammates. I look forward to my first season.”
Head Coach, Chris Morgan is pleased to add Derocher to his roster. “I have watched Kyler's development as a soccer player for five years through The Academy at Alexander Forbes and at Charles Spencer High School. He has developed physically and mentally and has a love of the game. Kyler will bring a great attitude and work rate to the field and will be an offensive threat for the team. We welcome Kyler, another local player to the squad.”
Welcome to the pack, Kyler.
