GPRC Wolves Men's Soccer New Recruit, Julian Jaravata.
Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2021-22 GPRC Wolves Men’s Soccer team. GPRC is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the 5GPRC priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Chris Morgan is excited to add his first recruits to the roster.
Meet Julian Jaravata.
Hailing from Grande Prairie, Alberta, local player Jaravata is looking forward to all the personal growth he will experience heading off to post-secondary. “I chose GPRC because it’s home and to be able to play with my friends. Also, to learn and grow in sport, school, but also for life.”
Jaravata is bringing a ton of great experience to the wolfpack. In 2016, Jaravata won all three years of provincial play with his team, and in 2018, he also brought home the Tier 3 provincial championship title with his indoor soccer team. As a multi-sport athlete, Jaravata had a success year in 2019, as he was asked to play for Volleyball Team Alberta and brought home gold in the Francophone Games. Also in 2019, Jaravata was selected to play volleyball for the Arctic Winter Games.
In his upcoming rookie season, Jaravata is looking forward to getting back out on the field with his teammates that have become friends. “I am most excited to play competitive soccer again, and to play with my friends.”
Head Coach, Chris Morgan is pleased to add Jaravata to his roster. “We are delighted to welcome Julian to the program. Julian is a multi-sport athlete, which is evident in his physical frame. A strong athlete who shows good pace and can play in several positions. I have known Julian for quite a while. He will bring a strong and charismatic personality to the field and we look forward in supporting his development as student athlete at GPRC.”
Welcome to the pack, Julian.
