GPRC Wolves Men's Soccer New Recruit, Jayden Tomlinson.
Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2021-22 GPRC Wolves Men’s Soccer team. GPRC is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the 5GPRC priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Chris Morgan is excited to add his first recruits to the roster.
Meet Jayden Tomlinson.
Hailing from Grande Prairie, Alberta, local player Tomlinson is looking forward to growing as an athlete on the Wolves and presenting the familiar logo. “I chose GPRC because of the familiar community and the exceptional coaching. Also, it would be an honour to represent my home town.”
Taking home back-to-back MVP awards in his school soccer season, Tomlinson has also played in the Alberta Summer Games in 2016, and brought home a gold medal from the Francophone Games in 2017. In 2019, with his GP United teammates, Tomlinson brought home the gold title in the U17 Tier 3 provincial championships.
In his upcoming rookie season, Tomlinson is looking forward to what’s to come. “I am most excited about learning and growing as a player and as a person.”
Head Coach, Chris Morgan is pleased to add Tomlinson to his roster. “We are excited to welcome Jayden to the program. Jayden is a versatile player and shows good game understanding. I had the pleasure coaching him in The Academy for a few years now. A quiet and respectful player who underpins what a team player is all about. We look forward to helping Jayden grow as a student and as a player at GPRC.”
Welcome to the pack, Jayden.
