GPRC Wolves Men's Volleyball New Recruit, Blake Thiemann.
Recruitment season continues for the 2021-22 GPRC Wolves as Head Coach, Sam Tu’ivai adds another player to his men’s volleyball roster. GPRC is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the 5GPRC priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member.
Meet Blake Thiemann.
Hailing from Grande Prairie, Alberta, Thiemann is looking forward to further his athletic and academic career at the College. “I believe that GPRC will be a great place to pursue my science degree. I can’t wait to meet other students and professors within my field of interest.”
Thiemann is bringing a ton of experience to the GPRC Wolves. In 2018, Thiemann brought home a 3A Provincial Silver with his Peace Wapiti Academy team. During 2019 and 2020, Thiemann played for the South Peace Volleyball Club, and also in 2020, Thiemann made Team Alberta North for the Arctic Winter Games.
In his upcoming rookie season, Thiemann is excited for what’s to come. “I am excited to get back to playing and learn new things at a higher level.”
Head Coach, Sam Tu’ivai is thrilled to add Thiemann to the roster. “Blake brings great skill as a player and being a leader in his high school team. I am looking forward to working with Blake to sharpen his skills and better his performance and the team outcome. The men’s volleyball program welcomes Blake to the Wolves.”
Welcome to the pack, Blake.
