GPRC Wolves Women's Soccer New Recruit, Isabella Ziebart.
Recruitment season continues for the 2021-22 GPRC Wolves as Head Coach, Chris Morgan adds another player to his women’s soccer roster. GPRC is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the 5GPRC priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member.
Meet Isabella Ziebart.
Hailing from Fort St. John, British Colombia, Ziebart is looking forward to attending GPRC and taking the next steps in building her skills on the field. “I am grateful for the opportunity provided by GPRC to continue playing soccer after high school. I am confident that the coaching staff at GPRC can help take my game to the next level. I’m looking forward to furthering my education at a College that has achieved top honours in College athletics, is close to home, and has small class sizes.”
Ziebart is bringing a ton of great experience to the Wolves. In 2018, Ziebart played with the Zone 8 girl’s soccer team in the B.C. Summer Games, and brought home MVP at the Kelowna B.C. Canada Day tournament with her FSJ Northern Strikers team. 2019 proved to be a big year for Ziebart, bringing home the same MVP title one again, as well as playing in the BC Girls Soccer Provincial Championships and bringing home first place at the Caledonia Cup.
In her upcoming rookie season, Ziebart is looking forward to quite a bit, including seeing some familiar faces on the field in her teammates. “I am most excited to be contributing to the women’s soccer team’s success on and off the field, getting to know my new teammates, and continuing to play with fellow former players from FSJ Northern Strikers.”
Head Coach, Chris Morgan is pleased to add Larios to the roster. “I first coached Isabella as a guest coach for the U14 Fort St John Soccer Club in 2015. Isabella was a standout player at that time. I have continued to monitor her development while she played competitions in Edmonton. A multi-talented athlete, Isabella will bring a dynamism to the Wolves midfield next season.”
Welcome to the pack, Isabella.
