GPRC Wolves Women's Volleyball New Recruit, Mya Scoble.
Recruitment season continues for the 2021-22 GPRC Wolves Women’s Volleyball team. Head Coach, Lauren Hale-Miller is excited to add another round of two talented recruits to the roster. GPRC is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the 5GPRC priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member.
First up, meet Mya Scoble.
Hailing from Edmonton, Alberta, Scoble is looking forward to representing Grande Prairie and officially becoming a wolf under the incredible coaching staff at the College. “I chose GPRC because I instantly connected with Lauren. She made me feel so incredibly welcomed, even before, I came a wolf.”
Scoble has already had quite an impressive career on the court having played with the Panda’s Volleyball Club over the last few years. Scoble brought home a silver U14 provincial medal in 2017 and was proud to play in the provincial championships with her U15 and U16 Panda’s team in 2018 and 2019.
In her upcoming rookie season, Scoble is looking forward to opportunity ahead. “I am super excited to play along side a new group of girls because I’ve heard great things.”
Head Coach, Lauren Hale-Miller is thrilled to add Scoble to the roster. “As soon as I met Mya, I knew she would be a great fit for our program. She is a hard working and driven individual and player. Along with that, Mya’s skill set will pose a huge threat at the net. We are thrilled to have Mya join us for the 2021-22 season.”
Welcome to the pack, Mya.
