Recruitment season continues for the 2020-21 GPRC Wolves Women’s Basketball team. Head Coach, Bill Bradley is excited to add another recruit to the roster.
The newest recruit to the team is Raylene Badger.
Hailing from Sexsmith, Alberta, Badger is looking forward to begin her ACAC career at GPRC. “I chose GPRC because I wanted to stay close to home and I’m interested in taking the Education program that I continue to hear good stories about,” says Badger.
Badger is bringing her impressive regional career to the team. She was a co-captain of the Senior High Sexsmith Sabres basketball team for the 2019/2020 season, she was named the Sexsmith Secondary Athlete of the Year in 2019 and played in the regional high school All Star Game in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
When asked what Badger is most looking forward to her rookie season, she’s gearing up to build relationships and skills. “I’m most excited to get to know all the girls on the team and to be able to continue to play basketball,” says Badger.
Head Coach, Bill Bradley is thrilled to add Badger to the roster. “Raylene has a well rounded skill set that allows her to play at the guard or forward position. The ability to play multiple positions will allow us to be creative both offensively and defensively.”
Welcome to the pack, Raylene.
