Recruitment for the men’s 2020-21 soccer season continues. GPRC Wolves Men and Women’s Soccer Head Coach, Chris Morgan is pleased to add another new addition to the roster.
The newest recruit to the team is Evan Bedard.
Hailing from East Selkirk, Manitoba, Bedard is looking forward to continue his post-secondary journey at a new institution. “GPRC gave me the opportunity to continue playing college soccer. I’m also looking forward to switching my program major into Kinesiology,” says Bedard.
Bedard brings valuable experience to the Wolves. He was a 2017 MVP at his high school, Lord Selkirk Regional Comprehensive Secondary School. In the 2017-18 season, he made the cut to be a Pilot for the Providence University College and Theological Seminary who became the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) Northern Regional Champions. That same year, the Pilots won bronze at the NCCAA National Championships.
Joining a new team is what Bedard is most looking forward to this season with the Wolves.
“I’m most excited to meet my teammates and find out where I fit within the team dynamic,” says Bedard.
Head Coach, Chris Morgan is excited to have Bedard join GPRC. "We are excited to capture the signing of Evan Bedard from Manitoba. Evan joins the growing band of players from the province transferring from Providence University. He arrives with a pedigree and experience from playing in NCCAA. We welcome Evan and look forward to watching him compete and play at GPRC."
Welcome to the pack, Evan.
