Recruitment season continues for the 2020-21 GPRC Wolves Men’s Volleyball team. Head Coach Sam Tu’ivai is excited to add another recruit to the roster.
The newest recruit to join the team is Corom Gregson.
Hailing from Cardston, Alberta, Gregson is looking forward to learn from the Wolves coaching staff. “Coach Tu’ivai has been a big supporter of me and has helped me become a member of his team. I wanted to be coached by someone who looks past just the sport and sees the character in his players. I know Coach Tu’ivai will have players that I can easily become friends with and feel like a part of the team,” says Gregson.
Gregson ended his high school volleyball career in 2019 with a silver medal at the 3A Boys Volleyball South Zone Provincial Championship with his team, the Cardston Cougars.
Experiencing a new team and new competition are what Gregson is excited for in his rookie season. “I’m looking forward to learning more about volleyball and how I can improve my skills. I’m also excited to be able to compete with and against some of the top talents across Alberta,” says Gregson.
Head Coach, Sam Tu’ivai is thrilled to add Gregson to the roster. “Corom is a determined individual and a very talented athlete. The assistant coaches and I are looking forward to working with him and helping guide Corom to his potential in academics and volleyball skills. I believe the GPRC Wolves Program is the right fit for Corom. We welcome Corom to the Wolves and we are looking forward to working with him and the team, ‘Wolves Strong’.”
Welcome to the pack, Corom.
