Recruitment continues for the 2020-21 soccer season. GPRC Wolves Men and Women’s Soccer Head Coach, Chris Morgan is pleased to be adding to the women’s 2020-21 roster.
The newest recruit to the team is Arianna Payne.
Hailing from Prince George, British Columbia, Payne chose GPRC to advance her athletic and academic goals. “I chose GPRC because it has a great science program and offers me an opportunity for both athletic and academic achievements,” says Payne.
Payne’s extensive career is sure to bring valuable experience to the team. She was a member of the 2014 and 2016 British Columbia Summer Games on team Nanaimo and Abbotsford, respectively. She was also a 2018 high school Zones MVP and participated in a 2019 international tournament with the Vancouver Whitecaps in Seattle, Washington.
She’s looking forward to time on and off the field in her rookie season. “I’m most excited about being able to bond with the team and being able to play soccer at a competitive level,” says Payne.
Head Coach, Chris Morgan is thrilled to be adding Payne to the roster. “I am looking forward to watching Arianna play at GPRC. When watching her play, she is adaptable and can play in several positions. She recovers quickly and shows good game awareness which is pleasing to see. We welcome Arianna and are keen to witness her progress at GPRC.”
Welcome to the pack, Arianna.
