Paige Wells commits to the 2020-21 Wolves Women's Volleyball Program.
Recruitment has begun for the 2020-21 volleyball season. Head Coach Lauren Hale-Miller is excited to continue adding to the 2020-21 Wolves roster.
The newest addition to the team is Paige Wells.
Hailing from Wanham, Alberta, Paige Wells is excited to become a Wolf, “[I chose GPRC because] I really like that it’s close to home and lots of my friends go here. I like the girls on the team and the coach, too. I’m glad GPRC offers an Open Studies program because I want to see what I want to do.”
Wells had a very successful 2019 year by winning gold at the Alberta Volleyball Division One Provincials, bronze at the ASAA 3A Provincials and fifth in Division One at Volleyball Canada Nationals.
“[In my rookie season] I’m excited to contribute to the team, learn from Lauren and the other girls. I’m excited to play this level of volleyball.”
The recruitment of Wells adds to the impressive list of regional talent that will be seen in the 2020-2021 season.
Head Coach, Lauren Hale-Miller is thrilled to welcome Wells to the pack. “Paige is going to be a huge threat to our offence. She is an explosive and powerful player with a lot to offer. Along with her skill, she’ll bring positive energy and a strong work ethic to our program.”
Welcome to the pack, Paige!
