News Archives: Ohori Commits to the Men's Volleyball Program

GPRC Wolves Men's Volleyball new recruit, Zachariah Ohori. Zach is committing to the Wolves for the 2019-20 season.
Hailing from Prince George, British Columbia, Zachariah (Zach) is bringing a ton of great experience to the Wolves this upcoming season. Zach brought home the Provincial Championship in 2019 with his BC U18 team, an upgrade from the bronze provincial medal he brought home with his BC U16 team in 2017. Also in 2017, Zach brought home a silver medal at the Western Nationals with his U16 Club team. Finally, in 2016, he brought home a provincial silver with his BC U15 team.
Zach is looking forward to starting his post-secondary education at GPRC as he’s enrolled in a Bachelor of Science, University Transfer program. He is most looking forward to “playing at a post-secondary level of volleyball and connecting with the Grande Prairie community.” Zach is looking forward to attending GPRC thanks to its “great academic options financial support put in place for its student-athletes.”
Head Coach Schneider is looking forward to welcoming Zachariah to the squad this upcoming season.
“The men’s volleyball team is excited to welcome Zach to the program. He brings tremendous experience as a well-rounded volleyball player who has shared team successes by winning medals at the National level as well as Provincially in BC. Zach has experience playing in multiple positions and he comes from an excellent volleyball program in Prince George. We know he has had great competitive experiences and he has been well trained, it is awesome to have Zach join the Wolves.”
