More About Tamara

    I teach primarily in second and fourth year of the BScN Collaborative program. My background is medical/surgical in the acute care setting. My educational qualifications include a BScN baccalaureate degree from University of Alberta and a MN from the University of Southern Queensland.

    I have worked in a variety of healthcare settings including: homecare and medical clinics, emergency, oncology, trauma  and orthopedics, thoracics, medical and cardiac stepdown, surgical, postpartum, and neuro intensive care.

   I enjoy the the teachable moments where the students have their 'aha' moments.
