More About Susan

Graduated from GPRC/University of Alberta BSCN 2002 and Athabasca University in 2008 with a Masters in Nursing.

Susan has been teaching at NWP since 2015. She loves the opportunity to share her passion for Nursing with students.

Susan has experience in indigenous community nursing, Public Health, and rural health care.  She values integration of research as an important component in effective nursing instruction.

Susan received the First Nations and Inuit Health Nursing Award of Excellence in 2006.

Susan enjoys hiking with her three girls on her days off.
