More About Misha
Misha Albert is the Drama Instructor here at GPRC, joining the Fine Arts department in August 2018. He is an educator, actor, director and bon vivant who has been fortunate to work across this great country in a variety of theatre capacities in both official languages. He received his MFA (Acting) and Graduate Voice Teacher Certificate from York University (Toronto) last century.
Misha teaches acting fundamentals, voice and speech, scene study, theatre history, play analysis and devised theatre. He also enjoys directing student productions, and this year produced CLUE on Stage. He was seen onstage here in GP in No Sex Please-It's Christmas at GPLT.
In a previous life, Misha worked for CBC/Radio Canada as an on-air personality covering the Arts. He also taught English as an additional language, French to Japanese priests, and tutored students in Biology, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
Since landing in Grande Prairie, Misha has rediscovered his love of curling, and plays tennis when weather permits. He also appreciates great epicurean adventures.
