More About Louise

I began my nursing career as a graduate from the Royal Alexandra School of Nursing. 

I completed my BScN and graduated with Distinction from the University of Alberta (2006).

I completed my Master's of Nursing as an international student in Australia from the University of Southern Queensland and graduated with Honors (2008).

I was inducted as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International "Honor Society of Nursing" (2008).  

I have been teaching at the Grande Prairie Regional College in the BScN Nursing Program since 2005.  I have taught in every year of the four year BScN program and have also taught in the Post-RN program.

Since becoming a Registed Nurse, I have worked in a variety of nursing fields including private practice, medical, surgical, postpartum, emergency and public health.  I currently maintain my nursing competence by working casual on the maternity unit and at the Public Health unit.
