More About Clinton
I received my first trade ticket as a licensed Automotive Mechanic at Fairview College in 1993. After, I worked as a Millwright for Weyerhaeuser in Grande Prairie, and during my time there, I received my Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) ticket through NAIT in 2001. My career at Northwestern Polytechnic, formerly GPRC, began in 2005, and I can honestly say I like my job. I get to work with an awesome group of people every day. I am the Chair for the Inclusion Alberta Post-Secondary Trades Committee and I have been involved with the Instructional Skills Workshop since 2018.
My wife Darlene and I have three children, Brandy, Cori, and Kyler. We also have two grandchildren, Harrison and Bennett. Cori attended the nursing program at NWP, and Kyler is also currently a student.
In my spare time I enjoy mountain biking and fixing older vehicles. I am also a certified yoga instructor, and I am hoping that will be my retirement job.
My words of wisdom: “Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
