More About Bruce
Although my degrees are in theoretical psychology, I am first and foremost an educator. I apply my interest in epistemology to my work in the classroom, always trying to find better ways to teach, share, and assess academic knowledge. I am currently researching the concept of consciousness along with narratives, myths, and story telling. My areas of expertise are Learning, Memory, Perception, Cognition, Experimental Psychology, Statistics, and Research Methods, as well as the History of Psychology and its roots in myth, religion, and philosophy. Other areas of interest include American culture and politics, martial arts, comparative religions, and strange philosophies. An active member of the Grande Prairie community, I am on the Board of Directors for the Rotary House homeless shelter and I proudly wear the college colours while competing in local foot races and triathlons.
