Overhead Crane (OHC01C)

Description

Learn and understand the safe use and operation of a powered overhead hoist, including conducting a pre-use inspection, demonstrating safe operating and rigging procedures, and the use, care, inspection and storage of equipment.

Training consists of both classroom and practical training. After completing this training, participants will:

• Understand the safe use and operation of a powered overhead hoist
• Know how to conduct a pre-use inspection of a powered overhead hoist
• Demonstrate safe operating and rigging procedures of a powered overhead hoist
• Know the roles and responsibilities for the safe operation of an Overhead Crane

The use of coveralls or long sleeves and long pants during training is recommended.
