QuickBooks (ACC12)
Description
Do you need to learn how to utilize a bookkeeping program to enhance your employment opportunities or to upskill in your current career? This course provides the essential coverage of QuickBooks Online, a popular online bookkeeping program.
In this course, you will explore the key functions of QuickBooks Online, including planning and creating a new company file, suppliers and customers, banking with QuickBooks Online, physical inventory, payroll, estimates and time tracking, balance sheet accounts, budgets, closing the books and more. Basic accounting principles, accounting cycle steps, and behind the scenes of QuickBooks are also covered.
Duration and Delivery
This course is delivered two evenings a week (Monday/Wednesday) for four weeks - May 5 to June 4, 2025. Students can take this course on campus only.
Program Requirements
You must successfully complete Basic Bookkeeping Level 1 & 2 prior to registering for QuickBooks.
If you have not completed these courses, but you are experienced with bookkeeping or you already work in the industry, you may seek approval from the Associate Dean of Continuing Education to register for this course.
