Celebrating the Class of 2021
Congratulations to all of our graduates! The latest round of GPRC grads are now officially alumni, after the College honoured its Class of 2021 virtually on Saturday, May 1, 2021. In addition to an online celebration, graduates were treated to commemorative keepsakes in recognition of their time with GPRC, as well as congratulatory messages from local dignitaries and community members. Getting a Shot at FREE Tuition

Fairview Community Advisory Council
GPRC, in partnership with the Town and Municipal District of Fairview, has formed a Community Advisory Council to establish strategies that will strengthen the relationship between the community and GPRC. Learn more about Council.

Regional Connections

Student Research Conference Highlights
The second annual Student Research Conference was a huge success by all accounts. The evening began with a keynote address by GPRC instructor Dr. Shawn Morton and visiting scholar Dr. Meaghan Peuramaki-Brown, on their research, which was followed by the student researcher's presentations on their own unique projects. From Belize to Bezanson
With thousands of miles (and years!) separating the two, one would have a hard time drawing similarities between an ancient Maya town in Belize and our own nearby town of Bezanson, Alberta. However, the work of GPRC scholar Dr. Shawn Morton and his colleague Dr. Meaghan Peuramaki-Brown proves that the two may have more in common than one would think. Pride in the Arts
For over 22 years, Fine Arts instructor Ed Bader has been inspiring his students to look at the world from a different perspective and truly "see it". Truck Luck
Perhaps an unforeseen outcome of the COVID-19 pandemic - the need for commercial truck drivers is at an all-time high. With waitlists for driver training programs up to five months long, and a further shortage of commercial truck drivers anticipated in the next few years, it's been a challenge for GPRC to keep pace.
