Thank You
The health and safety of GPRC students, staff, faculty, and the communities it serves is always GPRC’s top priority, but especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The College has closed its buildings on both the Fairview and Grande Prairie campuses and has made significant changes to meet the learning and employment needs of students and staff. We would like to thank our students, our leadership, our staff, our faculty and the GPRC community for their commitment to the College, and for their understanding and support. Find the latest COVID-19 updates on our website.

Online Class Delivery at GPRC
The biggest change for GPRC students has been the transition from in-class instruction to online course delivery. Students are showing incredible resiliency and academic abilities in dealing with this change. The transition happened very quickly and seamlessly, with instructors teaching from home and keeping virtual office hours to support student needs. Support services such as the library, academic success centre and mental health services have moved online as well. For a list of online resources for students, visit our website.

GPRC Cares
GPRC launched its new GPRC Cares initiative to support the communities it serves while we respond together to the COVID-19 pandemic. The initiative has two key focuses – the first being a mental health strategy for GPRC staff, students and the broader community, and the second being a community outreach program to offer many of the daily, in-person support services to the entire community in an online format. Festival of Gold
The annual Festival of Gold was unfortunately cancelled to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Though we all are disappointed that we cannot celebrate the annual Festival of Gold in person, GPRC is pleased to be using social media to recognize the great performances our Wolves athletes have had throughout the season. The awards were announced from April 13 to 17, 2020.

GPRC Awards Recognize Community
The annual GPRC President’s Awards Luncheon celebration was cancelled this year in response to COVID-19. An online campaign was created to provide this recognition from March 30 to April 7. Read more about the awards and the recipients here.
