Mark on You - A VITAL Tribute to Don Gnatiuk
On September 12, more than 200 guests gathered at the Pomeroy Hotel and Conference Centre to pay tribute to Don Gnatiuk, who is retiring in the coming months as GPRC’s CEO and President. The evening was filled with smiles and memories of his 12-year tenure at the College. Browse through photos from the evening here. People who want to honour Don may donate to The Don and JoAnn Gnatiuk Community Leadership Award Endowment, a legacy to recognize the contributions of the Gnatiuk family to the College and the region it serves.

GPRC Fairview welcomed 58 Grade 7-9 students from St. Thomas More Catholic School to their campus for the 2019 Trades Camp. GPRC Hosted Juno Nominee at Student Welcome Event
GPRC’s Circle of Indigenous Students hosted Juno-nominated Indigenous artist Kelly Fraser at its Student Welcome Celebration. GPRC Graduate Investigates New Ways to Predict Hydraulic Pump Failure
Jon Fernandes, a GPRC ThinkBIG Service Technician diploma graduate and current University of Saskatchewan master’s student is examining how to predict failure in hydraulic pumps using pressure response measurements. He hopes his research will help industry professionals determine how worn a pump is, potentially saving companies hundreds of thousands of dollars in replacement costs. GPRC Mental Health Services has partnered with Morneau Shepell to introduce an exciting new program to The College. The Student Support Program or My SSP! Nominations for the President’s Awards are now open. Nominate a GPRC graduate or a local community member before November 6, 2019 for their outstanding contribution to GPRC and their community. Award recipients will be announced at the President’s Awards Luncheon in March 2020.
