Open Educational Resources at GPRC
GPRC is lowering textbook costs for students by promoting Open Educational Resources (OER). The Students’ Association (SA) began advocating for this last year hoping to enhance the overall learning experience and instructor’s course content. GPRC's Educational Technologies Centre (Ed. Tech) has been integral in the process of helping instructors find, edit and build course content with OER. Textbooks are still available, but OER is helping students reduce educational costs.
