Anniversary Kick-off!
We kicked off our Anniversary year in style on September 22, the original first days of class back in 1966. With great food, great company and ice cream floats we celebrated a dream come true of 50 years ago – quality post secondary education in northern Alberta.
As a special surprise, we were thrilled to announce the release of Tenille’s song, Mark on You, a tribute to GPRC and its lasting impressions on the community.

Annual President's Ball
Alongside our community members, we celebrated 50 years of student success at our 30th Annual President's Ball on October 22, 2016. It was a wonderful night as we looked back at the story of GPRC and forward to the chapters yet to come. This year's gala has been lauded as "the best yet"; with a superb four-course dinner and an epic band, it will be a night to remember for years to come!
