Leisa Floreani
Leisa Floreani (née Harder) is currently in her fourth and final year at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan, and will graduate as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in June 2015. “GPRC offered the calibre of education expected in larger centers with the added bonus of small class sizes,” Leisa says. “This, along with the affable nature of the science faculty, allowed for more classroom interaction and the ability to get to know professors better.

GPRC Performance Series
We closed the GPRC performance series on December 5th with TJ Dawe and what a wonderful show it was! We are so pleased with the quality that was brought to our stage this year with these five performances. We were serenaded by Chloe Albert, as singer and songwriter from Edmonton, we cried well watching Jake’s Gift and left a piece of our heart with all the soldiers, The Mask Messenger taught us how to use different body movements and the history and importance of masks, Black Umfolosi showed us a different culture through their stories, song and dance and TJ Dawe shared a deep and emotional journey that connected us all through sharing in the pain of struggling with our inner demons.
Thank you everyone who joined us for our performance series. Plans are underway for the 2015/2016 season. Keep your eyes open for the Performance Series announcement!
For Performance Series sponsorship opportunities contact Heidi at HArbeauWood@gprc.ab.ca or call (780)539-2835.
