Northwestern Polytechnic is fuelling industry advancement and regional competitiveness. Located in the heart of our vibrant Grande Prairie, AB campus, NWP's leading-edge Power Engineering and Instrumentation Lab will train technologically minded problem solvers who will address growing workforce demands across the Peace Region, Alberta, and beyond. As this project ramps up, we are eager to identify local champions and partners who will greatly enrich the student experience with their generosity and goodwill.

Empowered Vision

We aim to enhance local capacity and meet evolving industry needs with a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to innovation and training. Building kicked off in the spring of 2024, and with the help of our valued partners and community, we anticipate full facility launch and commissioning to take place in 2026.

Facility Naming Rights	$ 1,000,000.00	This prestigious opportunity will offer substantial reach and community recognition while supporting post-secondary excellence.
U1 & U2	$ 100,000.00	Utility Rooms – Motor Control Centre (MCC) and Power Systems, and Instrument Air Compressor Package
1	$ 500,000.00	Tool Crib – Includes tools to benefit this program plus additional trade programs
2	$ 750,000.00	Power Lab – Steam Boilers Package, and Steam Turbine system
3	$ 500,000.00	Process Lab – Process Separator System with 3 Phase Separator, and Glycol Regeneration
4	$ 250,000.00	Student and Faculty Area – Study Centre
5	$ 500,000.00	Wet Lab – Featuring Pumps and Tanks, Levels and Metering, and Water Conditioning Systems
6	$ 250,000.00	Power Engineering Bench Lab – Includes Pipefitting and Maintenance Systems
