David Sloan graduated BSc in Computer Engineering - Nano-Scale Design from the University of Alberta in December 2010 and is currently nearing the end of his research and writing his PhD in Computer Engineering at the University of Alberta.
“I easily settled into my studies at the University of Alberta after completing my first year of the BSc Engineering Program at GPRC,” David says. “GPRC offered a small class of First Year Engineering Students with a sense of community which lasted through my 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years in Engineering at the University of Alberta. At GPRC I greatly appreciated the teaching and approachable nature of all of my professors. Now, in addition to my PhD work, I am also advising students working on a project to develop a central processing board for the Alberta Sat project which aims to send hardware into space next year.”
