Wednesday, July 24th, 2024
Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2024-2025 NWP Wolves Women’s Basketball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolfpack member. Head Coach Bill Bradley is excited to introduce recruits to the roster.
Welcome C-aira Stucklschwaiger.
Hailing from Fairview, Alberta, Stucklschwaiger is ready to don the Wolves jersey. “I am most excited to learn and experience a new level of basketball and be pushed out of my highschool comfort zone. I want to learn new things to grow as a player as well as meet and work with new girls who can show me tricks along the way.”
Stucklschwaiger is no stranger to the Wolves den having played in the 2024 NWP All Star games representing the Fairview Cobras. She is also the 5-year champ of the Most Defensive Award in Basketball. As a multi-sport athlete, Stucklschwaiger has also brought home many awards in hockey and golf for her hometown.
Head Coach Bill Bradley is looking forward to working with Stucklschwaiger this upcoming season. "C-aira is a tenacious defender that should allow us to play a more aggressive style of defense. She sees the floor well and can anticipate opponents. I am excited to work with her this season.”
Welcome to the Pack, C-aira.
