Men's Soccer Welcomes Duarte

Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2024-2025 NWP Wolves Men’s Soccer and Futsal teams. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolfpack member. Head Coach David Rojas is excited to introduce recruits to the rosters.
Welcome Raphael Duarte.
Hailing from Santos, Brazil, Duarte is ready to hit the field running. “I’m most looking forward to the chance to make the Wolves a competitive team to finish among the first three top teams.” Duarte is also looking forward to experiencing NWP and all that Grande Prairie has to offer. “I chose NWP because it has a solid business program and is a great city to live in.”
In 2019, Duarte received the Top Scorer and Top Assists with ACAC team, TKU Eagles. Head Coach, David Rojas is looking forward to Duarte's experience on the team. “Raphael is a dynamic player that can perform exceptionally in offensive and defensive positions. He will bring confidence, experience and maturity to our team.”
