New Recruit William Martin
Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2024-2025 NWP Wolves Men's Volleyball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Ron Thomson is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Meet William Martin a multi-talented athlete from Beaverlodge, Alberta who is excited to join the Wolves Men's Volleyball team for the upcoming year.
Martin brings with him an impressive athletic resume, including receiving recognition as the 2019 Top Outfielder for West Coast and receiving the 2023 All Star Provincial Award
When asked why he chose NWP, Martin explained that attending NWP allows him to play for a coach he respects.
In his rookie year, Martin is most excited for playing at the ACAC level.
Head Coach Ron Thomson is excited to work with Martin, adding, “Will is another athletic player with a lot of potential to be a great volleyball player. Will's multi-sport background allows him to add some versatility to the line-up".
