New Recruit Amery LaLonde
Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2025-2026 NWP Wolves Women's Soccer team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Catherine Ridgeway is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Meet Amery LaLonde a multi-talented athlete from Grande Prairie, Alberta who is excited to join the Wolves Women's Soccer team for the upcoming year.
LaLonde brings with her an impressive athletic resume, including participating In the 2020 Futsal Winter Games and the 2023 Track Summer Games.
When asked why she chose NWP, LaLonde explained that attending NWP allows her to play the sport she loves In front of her home town.
In her rookie year, LaLonde is most excited for the well-known great team atmosphere that being part of the Wolf pack brings.
Head Coach Catherine Ridgeway is excited to work with LaLonde, adding, “Amery Is the ultimate team player. She will bring composure and creative distribution In the middle of the pitch".
