News Archives: MBB adds Hall to the Team

Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2023-2024 NWP Wolves Men’s Basketball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Evan Lloyd is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Meet Tristan Hall a multi-talented athlete from Langdon, Alberta who is excited to join the Wolves Men’s Basketball team for the upcoming year.
Hall brings with him an impressive athletic resume, including being the 2023 Grade 12 Athlete of Year for the Chestermere Lakers, the 2023 Varsity Basketball League All-Star for the Chestermere Lakers, the 2022-2023 Scott Don Memorial Basketball Tournament All-Star Chestermere Lakers, and the 2023 Grade 12 Track and Field 1st in Shot Put Divisional and Zones, leading to a berth in Provincial Chestermere Lakers.
When asked why he chose NWP, Hall explained that Coach Lloyd has been very welcoming and that Hall hopes to grow with and add to the success of the team this year.
In his rookie year, Hall is most excited to play at the post-secondary level, expanding his game IQ, and improving his skills and abilities.
Head Coach Evan Lloyd is excited to work with Hall, adding, “Tristian brings a quality skill set at multiple positions, while having a eagerness to learn and expand his game. We are excited to have him and help him reach his goals.”
