News Archives: MVB Adds Hutchison to the Lineup

Men's Volleyball recruit, Reece Hutchison.
Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2022-23 NWP Wolves Men’s Volleyball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Sam Tuivai is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Say hello to Reece Hutchison.
A Grande Prairie local, Hutchison is meeting one of his long-term goals by playing for the Wolves! “Growing up, I would watch the Wolves play,” Hutchison said. “And it has been one of my long-term goals to play for the Wolves athletic program.”
Hutchison is most excited about creating relationships in his rookie year, as well as competing at a post-secondary level. “I am most excited for building relationships with the other players and coaching staff,” said Hutchison. “While learning how to compete at the colligate level.”
Hutchison brings with him a well-rounded skillset to the Wolves team. Most recently in 2021, Hutchison played for the Titans Varsity Athletics, and Velocity u18.
Head Coach, Sam Tuivai is pleased to welcome Hutchison to the team.
“Reece is dedicated to his school and volleyball. Reece will be a bring strong athletic ability to our setter group,” said Tuivai. “I believe he will bring lots of energy to the team to advance to the next level. Welcome Reece and we are looking forward to working with you.”
