Women's Basketball recruit, Abby Crown.
Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2022-23 NWP Wolves Women’s Basketball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Bill Bradley is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Say hello to Abby Crown.
Hailing from Lethbridge, Alberta, Crown is excited to not only join the squad, but the entire NWP learning community. When asked why she decided to come to NWP she mentioned she was excited to go to a “team and school with a welcoming community and environment, where I look forward to growing into a better athlete and person."
Crown is bringing great experience with her to the Wolves. In 2022, Crown brought home a bronze medal with her Winston Churchill School teammates at the 3A Provincials. Crown also took home the South Zone Gold medal in 2022 with the same teammates.
In her upcoming rookie season, Crown is ready to put in the work. She is most excited for “getting to play at the next level and improve [her] skills as an athlete.”
Head Coach, Bill Bradley is pleased to welcome Crown to the team.
“Abby is bringing a set of skills that make her a threat anywhere on the court,” said Coach Bradley. “With a dedicated work ethic that will make her a great player for the Wolves program. She is a high character athlete that I am grateful to bring into our locker room.”
Welcome to the pack, Abby!
