Say hello to Helaina Zeyha.
Hailing from Grande Prairie, Alberta, Zeyha is looking forward to taking the next step in her academic career and is looking forward to the opportunities ahead. "I've heard that NWP has great opportunities,” she said. “It is close to home and a great place for me to start my post-secondary education.”
Zeyha is bringing great experience with her to the Wolves. In 2019, she brought home second place with her U15 SPVC team at Premier 1. Zeyha’s 2020 season was full of accomplishments. She received the MVP award with her John Paul II Eagles team and was invited to the RBC Training Ground. In 2022, Zeyha and her Eagles teammates won gold at 3A Zones.
In her upcoming rookie season, Zeyha is excited to get a taste of the next level of competition. “I’m most excited to learn and grow as a volleyball player, while getting to play volleyball at a higher level.”
Head Coach, Lauren Hale-Miller is pleased to welcome Zeyha to the team.
“We are excited to have Helaina join our program this fall. I believe she has the potential to be a key player in our program and will flourish in the post-secondary environment.”
