We are excited to share that we are upgrading the core internet service for the Grande Prairie Campus Residence this summer. All residence buildings will connect directly to the NWP network, significantly improving internet service and enhancing the residence experience.

The Grande Prairie residence is home to 362 students who choose the carefree lifestyle of being on campus. We offer accommodations for both single students and students with families.

The Residences are located just to the east of the main campus near Bear Creek and offer fully-furnished apartments: 89 four-person units, two wheelchair accessible units and nine family housing units.

Each unit contains a full-size oven/stove as well as a full sized freezer with separate refrigerator. Furnishings include dining table/chairs, couches, love seats and end tables. Bedrooms are outfitted with extra-long (80") twin beds, dressers, closets and study desks or stations. Bathrooms are shared on each floor. Three laundry rooms are provided in Residence and every student is assigned a mailbox. The mail room and main laundry room are in the same building as the Residence Office.

Our residences border along the Muskoseepi Park trail system, where users can walk or bike from one side of the city to the other, without leaving the trails! We also are situated next to the Bear Creek reservoir which provides opportunities for nature lovers to go for a paddle along its banks or take the camera out for some great shots.
