Mind Over Metal™ Welding Camp

Weld With Us

Does welding spark your interest? NWP Fairview, in partnership with the Canadian Welding Bureau Foundation (CWBF) is proud to bring the Mind Over Metal™ Camp to our region.

This five-day hands-on camp is split into two age groups, 12 - 14 and 15 - 17, with 18 spots each. Participants will be introduced to the skilled trades through welding, with project-based learning in a fun, safe environment. Students build confidence and have fun while supervised by professionals in a safe environment.

The camps are a great experience for youth to explore opportunities in welding and welding-related skilled trades careers while learning new skills and working together in a group environment. Hands-on learning at these camps builds confidence and self-esteem and gives many participants a reason to continue developing a welding career in secondary, post-secondary and apprenticeship.
