Executive Council
Northwestern Polytechnic's Executive Council is responsible for providing institutional leadership, advancing the strategic plan, and stewarding the organization.
Values-based Leadership
We are committed to aligning decision-making and actions with ethical principles that guide leaders to act with integrity, empathy, and authenticity.
Within this core team there is shared understanding of the importance of consciously shaping our campus culture and delivering results. The Executive Council is tasked with:
Stewarding the Organization: NWP executives understand the big picture. They recognize how pieces come together, can look beyond the short-term, plan for various scenarios, and use their knowledge to influence the success of the whole. Executives understand that a collective win may require individual sacrifices.
Aligning to the Shared Vision: NWP executives are clear about where we are headed and how we plan to get there. There is a shared appreciation of the value of a healthy debate in promoting critical thinking and deeper analysis, but once decisions are made, the team is unified and acts accordingly.
Collaborating: NWP executives work together to break down silo mentality and traditional barriers to success. They are open to feedback, and understand the benefits of constructive communication, knowledge sharing, cross-functional teamwork, and a unified approach toward organizational goals.
Evaluating Effectiveness: NWP executives are committed to measuring progress. They report on the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in their division routinely throughout the year, seek feedback, evaluate initiatives, and adjust as required to ensure NWP success.
Looking Out for Each Other: NWP executives support, help, and champion the work of all members. They care about their colleagues and broader learning community.
